Well Spring has sprung there has been lots of activity on the bird feeders. In the last couple of months the Black Cap has returned. The Treecreeper is visiting the silver birches almost every day and 2 Goldcrests have been spotted again. Long-tailed tits are visiting the feeders frequently and dont seem bothered if i am standing 2 feet away :)The Great tits have been seen going in and out of the bird house on the Silver birch. So exciting to see such activity in the garden.
The frogs last month were busy making frogs spawn and i spotted at least 10 frogs at one time in the pond, i know after the winter we lost a few :( so hopefully the frogs spawn will be successful and we should have some tadpoles soon!
Every spring there are 3 ducks (2 male 1 female) that sit on the houses around my house and they are back. Heres one of them:
